Doing business and doing it ethically!
Many people consider that the very concepts of “business” and “ethics” sit uneasily together. Business ethics, to them is a contradiction in terms, like “a miniature giant”. Blue Room Innovation: Doing business and doing it ethically!
However, nowadays and more than ever companies should be in the business of ethics and contribute to social responsibility and the environment. Even though they are small, which is the next oxymoron of the classical business world understanding.
At least this is our understanding and the fix part of our company mission.
We do technological innovation and offer its ideation and development searching for more sustainable solutions in the process of recycling and citizens’ engagement (RECICLOS) which have a positive impact on the environment. Recycling is a key component of modern waste reduction and is the third component of the “Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle” waste hierarchy. Thus, recycling aims at environmental sustainability by substituting raw material inputs into and redirecting waste outputs out of the economic system.
We look for ways to reduce the impact of tourist agglomerations and the diversification of visitors to the city of Palma de Mallorca, improving the quality of the services offered by the city and the satisfaction of visitors through the personalized recommendation (Welcome Palma). It covers the needs of the city, also adapting to the new trends in tourism (Welcome Palma) relevant for the post COVID 19 time.
We understand innovation thanks to the know-how of our excellent team and also because we innovate ourselves, which makes an exceptional consultancy partner for other companies when digitizing and developing radical and incremental innovation projects. The risk of innovation is partly covered trough public funding for companies of all sizes, where we also give our support mainly to SMEs and start-ups.
Blue Room Innovation is the space to shape the future today not exclusively for the technological innovation of businesses. We also work in collaborative projects Europe-wide to find sustainable solutions of waste management based on new technologies, see more youngsters and especially young women finishing the STE(A)M careers (CHOICE), design educational platforms and transfer knowledge to educate professionals in artisanal work (HANDS), and help educational and social institutions (FRIENDESK & MEDIS) to find the way to use the new technologies according to their needs.
We think this is the way to make sense of the contradiction of “a miniature giant”.
