Universal Connector is an industrial innovation project aimed at solving one of the main challenges of business digitalization: the effective and universal connection between management systems (such as ERP) and design/product systems (such as PLM).
The main objective is to ensure a unique data, coherent and without duplications, which can also connect with tools such as the digital product passport.

The challenge of Universal Connector
Today, every integration between systems like ERP and PLM requires costly, time-consuming, and custom development, often involving data duplication, errors due to manual manipulation, and dependence on technical experts. This is especially problematic for small and medium-sized businesses that cannot afford large technological investments.
Furthermore, with the growing need for traceability, regulatory compliance and sustainability (as required by the EU with the Digital Passport), companies need more agile and universal tools to interconnect and share information in real time and with complete security.
What solution is required?
Universal Connector is a modular and scalable solution that allows for bidirectional integration of systems such as ERP, PLM, and other enterprise platforms, independent of vendor lock-in. Thanks to its agnostic design, it allows new integrations to be created in minutes, including unconventional channels such as email, OCR, or Excel. It incorporates advanced security with blockchain and temporary tokens, as well as tools such as a SQL editor and an automated notification system.
Additionally, it connects with the CircularTrust Digital Product Passport, ensuring traceability and compliance in circular economy environments.
