Digital passport for complete traceability of the MYNA product lifecycle
En un mundo cada vez más conectado, la sostenibilidad de los productos electrónicos se ha convertido en una prioridad urgente. MYNA es un módulo de comunicaciones inalámbricas desarrollado por Tekhne, basado en tecnología WiFi HaLow. Given the environmental impact of the electronics sector, a commitment has been made to guarantee the complete traceability of the product by creating a Digital Product Passport (DPP)This passport allows you to record and share all information about the device's lifespan: from its design and manufacturing to its final recycling. |

What have we accomplished?
We developed a digital passport that allows you to track the lifecycle of the MYNA module using blockchain, from its origin to its recycling.
Technology
Blockchain, Digital Product Passport, EPCIS protocol for logistics events, decentralized identities (DID), verifiable credentials and life cycle assessment (LCA)
The Tekhné Challenge

What solution is required?
In response, the MYNA Digital Passport was created, an innovative solution based on blockchain technology that allows all MYNA module information to be securely and verifiably recorded and accessed, from its design and production to its recycling.
This platform facilitates access to key product data through a simple scan, thus promoting the circular economy in the technology sector.
Tekhné Features
Certification of the veracity and integrity of the data
The MYNA Digital Passport uses blockchain technology to ensure that all information about the module's lifecycle—from the materials used to its recycling—is authentic, verifiable, and unalterable. This reinforces transparency and trust in product data.
Full traceability of the MYNA module
The platform allows tracking of every stage of the product lifecycle: design, manufacturing, distribution, use, and end-of-life. This traceability not only facilitates European regulatory compliance but also supports the circular economy by promoting sustainable and responsible practices in the electronics sector.
Single access point for the different actors of the ecosystem
Manufacturers, distributors, technicians, and end users can view or contribute relevant product information through a web or mobile platform. This improves supply chain coordination, facilitates audits, and enables more sustainable purchasing decisions thanks to a complete product overview.

Partners and Next Steps
The innovation team of Tekhne (MECHATRONICS INNOVATION TECHNOLOGIES, S.L.U), in collaboration with Blue Circular Innovation, is leading the development of the MYNA Digital Passport, with the goal of transforming traceability in the electronics sector. Both companies are working together to integrate technologies such as blockchain and lifecycle analysis, ensuring more sustainable and transparent management of electronic devices.
The goal is to extend this solution to other technological products and consolidate a new standard in transparency and circular economy..
